Joan Jett - Crimson & Clover
I don’t hardly know her
I think I could love her
Crimson and Clover
Over and over

Joan Jett | Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)

The Princess. The Queen. The then-teen godmother of rock and roll and still the guardian of three-chord crunchin’ wonder and magic.

in honor of this ’80s themed party i’m going to tonight
“ah, now i don’t hardly know her but i think i could love her.”

I hung out with Joan Jett backstage at every nightclub in L.A during the 70’s. The way she moved and spoke was more than cool. It was her very own style. Little did Joan know, but she invented the essence of cool. We would all hang out and I would be the kid with the camera taking all of the photos. Check out my photo. Joan was way too fucking cool to wear a belt or use her zipper. She preferred a safety pin!
